About the B&B |

|
|
Designed specifically to be a Michigan bed and breakfast inn, Wind in the Pines is a beautiful RippleCraft log home built in 2004-05. It
incorporates the lodging needs of the discriminating traveler. Each guestroom and "en suite" bath offer comfort, privacy, and cleanliness.
Enjoy all that the area has to offer, no matter the season! Unique shops, water sports,
golf, art & antiques, winter sports, wineries, and a vast array of excellent dining experiences
await you. Explore Sleeping Bear Dunes, hear a concert at Interlochen Arts Academy, or visit the
wineries of Leelanau and Old Mission Peninsulas. Wind in the Pines is located at the base of the
Leelanau Peninsula - ideally situated to provide easy access to the beautiful Grand Traverse region.
Wind in the Pines Bed & Breakfast is certified by the National Wildlife Federation as a wildlife
habitat. We received this certification to recognize our "planning, landscaping and sustainable
gardening so that wildlife may find quality habitat - food, water, cover and places to raise their
young". Relax on the guest patio or glance out any window and enjoy our wide variety of birds,
wild turkeys, ruffed grouse, or even the occasional deer or coyote.

Chuck and Cindee McLaughlin
|
We look forward to welcoming you to our B&B. Chuck taught instrumental music for 31
years, and Cindee spent 27 years working in health services, so we are very people oriented. We enjoy travel,
reading, music, and nature. As residents and avid fans of the Traverse City area, we would be happy to share our
favorite spots with you! |
